Inclusion Opportunities through SRSNLC
We understand that not every person with a disability requires SRSNLC services. We invite people, of all ages, with disabilities to participate in a multitude of programs. We will work cooperatively to assist any resident who wishes to participate in a park district program. We will make reasonable accommodations and will work with the registrant, his or her family and others to ensure a safe and enjoyable leisure experience. If you are interested in participating in a park district program, please contact us so we can support your participation through observations, in-service or staff training, providing community leisure resources, or the assistance of volunteers or "Leisure Buddies."

Contact SRSNLC - Round Lake at 847-546-8558 for the special registration forms needed to register for programs or click on the documents above.

LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD VOLUNTEERS!
Special Recreation Services of Northern Lake County is looking for people 18 and over interested in donating some time to a wonderful cause working with persons with disabilities. We are looking for general volunteers for a variety of programs and our Adult Day program the "T.O.D.A.Y. Club" (Together Opening Doors Around You). Volunteers should have a positive attitude, be outgoing and friendly and enjoy working with people of different backgrounds. Imagine being able to put a smile on a participant's face, that's why we need you! For more information on volunteering please contact Jessica Jeffery at 847-740-9828.

Full Access for All ADA
SRSNLC advocates for full participation under the Americans with Disabilities Act, (ADA), which prohibits discrimination in the provision of programs, services, or activities to individuals with disabilities. Every attempt at reasonable accommodation will be made so that individuals may participate in a desired program. We are committed to meeting your unique, individual leisure needs.
