Welcome to your Round Lake Area Park District Website. We hope rlapd.org will assist you in discovering more about the Park District and the numerous recreational programs, facilities, parks and other services available to you and your family. Your Round Lake Area Park District website serves multiple purposes such as a credible resource for you to make decisions about your recreational activities; providing information about events, facilities and services available through the Park District; offering convenience for you to register for programs and services online; and attracting local organizations, corporate sponsors and volunteers. Our design and navigation is here to provide customer service at your convenience, not just during park district hours.

Frosty Footrace:
Check two New Year's resolutions off your list in early 2012 February 26 with our Frosty Footrace. Whether your goal is fitness or giving back to a good cause join our fun and walk/run. All proceeds will benefit future senior fitness programs at the Round Lake Area Park District.
The race will start and end at the Sports Center, 2004 Municipal Way in Round Lake Beach (directly behind the US Post Office). After the race, participants will be warmed up with a cup of freshly made soup, then an awards presentation once everyone has finished.
